Can you introduce yourself?
Im a 21 year old girl wanting to live in an Alice in Wonderland fantasy. Im about to graduate from a Fashion Marketing and Communications degree where my main ambition is become a stylist. I love traveling with Tokyo being my favorite destination! I share all of my inspiration and travels on my blog yourtheragtomydoll.blogspot.com which gives me joy to update

When did you become interested in fashion and photography? do you work in this field?
I became interested in fashion from a very young age, being obsessed with shopping and spending all the money I could earn on new clothes. This love has grown with me, now being a main passion for me. I was properly introduced into the world of photography about two years ago and my love for this industry is ever growing. Two photographers that inspire me the most are Amanda Pratt and Tim Walker.

Today what is your strongest inspiration?
My strongest inspiration has always been from printed media, especially magazines. Currently the magazine that provides me with the most inspiration and excitement is Lula. Its a very girl publication with a scrapbook and fantasy feel to it, always showcasing extremely talented stylists with such original ideas and concepts. My dream in life would be to style a photoshoot for Lula.

Where do you find your ideas?
Most of my ideas come from other bloggers, there are some very talented people in the blogging world. Mainly The Cherry Blossom Girl and Le Blog de Betty provide me ever growing ideas but other smaller scale bloggers like Constance-Victoria and Pocahondas.

Do you currently have any interesting projects?
I currently have a few photoshoots lined up over the next few weeks, a press event to attend for the budding talent of Nottingham Trent Universities designers. I am mainly concentrating on finishing my degree at the moment but when thats over in 5 weeks I will be looking forward to a lot of exciting things to come in terms of styling, photography and fashion.

How long have you had your blog?
I have been running my blog for around a year now, however I only really started paying attention to it over the last 4 months where I have put my heart and soul into posting about what people might want to hear about. I am very greatful for all my readers and comments, they really make my day.

When you don’t work what do you do?
Unfortunately at the moment every single hour of my life is dedicated to work work work. But when I do get some time off I can’t ever sit still, I love being exposed to anything that will inspire me so take any opportunity given. I obviously love to shop, collect magazines, predict trends and socialise.

Tell our readers bout your hometown and why you like it?
The place that has felt most like home to me was Williamsburg, New York, it was such a vibrant neighborhood that was the hipster part of New York. Living there for 3 months last summer really showed me just how amazing and exciting the place was, with cupcake cafes, flea markets and a huge promotion for artists I was never bored.

If you had three things to take to Jupiter what would they be?
Three things to take to jupiter!! I would want to take my boyfriend for company, my laptop for communication and a pic nic for the cupcakes.

CAN YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF?
Hi my name is Aleksandra Rdest; I currently live in Toronto Canada. I was born in Poland and grew up in suburban Ontario; I am not one who thrives in the controlled monotony of the suburbs. I escaped to the city as early as possible to attend Art College. I spent much time on quests for wilderness in Northern Ontario then in Newfoundland only to realize that the wilderness I was seeking no longer exists. It was on these forays into wilderness that I developed my fascination for all things that grow and decay. I take a lot of photos; this is how I study the natural world. I am interested in the patterns of natural development; how they mirror each other on various scales.
HOW DID YOU BECOME AN ARTIST AND WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST INFLUENCE?
Being an only child meant that I got to make a lot of my own rules. Being the only child of immigrant parents meant I had a lot of time to myself growing up; time to dream and explore. Never much of a team player; I always knew I did not want a regular 9-5 job. I like the flexibility to be able to travel and re-invent myself.  Being an artist is not easy, working for yourself is much more work than working for someone else. As an artist you get to meet and work with such interesting people; there is never a dull moment.
TODAY, WHAT IS YOUR STRONGEST INSPIRATION?
Today my strongest inspiration is life on a microscopic scale. I am intimidated and distressed by cities; by the amount of sprawl the occurs all around. Not having had much opportunity to travel to many cities; they exist in my mind as an abstract. I play with notions of scale reversal what if the cities were tiny bacterial colonies? What if they are? I enjoy reading speculative fiction and have begun to speculate in my paintings. Thinking about the building block of life; organic, synthetic, I think they imitate each other, perhaps they could trades roles.
WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR IDEAS FOR A PROJECT?
My painting process is an evolution; each painting or group of paintings poses questions or problems I attempt to solve in the next group of paintings. My ideas are ever evolving and yet continue to draw from themes found in science and nature.
HAVE YOU GOT OTHER CURRENT PROJECTS?
I have an upcoming exhibition at Angell Gallery this summer. I am also working as a member of the art collective A Collection of Foreign Objects towards a summer exhibition at the Gendai Gallery in Toronto. The exhibition is called “Bungalow Colony” it will explore Settling and the Portability of Home through a variety of installations and interactions. I am planning a few large paintings which will explore colonization on a variety of scales.

I do not believe in talent. I think you decide to do something, and you do it. How hard you work determines how well you do at it.

1. Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Constance Phillips, and I am a freelance photographer and and fashion blogger from the U.K

2. When did you become interested in fashion and photography and what was the first influence?
I have been interested in fashion from a very young age, and always wanted to be a fashion designer, But after doing an evening course in black and white photography I was addicted and decided to go down the photography route rather than the design side of fashion.

3. Today what is your strongest inspiration?
My strongest inspiration comes from everything around me. Sometimes It can come from buying a garment which I know will work in a fashon story and then developing the ideas around the clothing, Or from seeing films, other photographers, and even listening to music.

4. Where do you find your ideas?
A lot of my ideas just start as visions in my head and then I expand on them and talk about them with friends who can help to shape a scene that I want to create.
I can also get good ideas from seeing other photographers work and noticing an effect or technique which I want to have a go at creating myself.

5. Do you currently have any interesting projects?
I constantly have projects even when they are ones that I simply set myself! I constantly have a ‘to do list’ which i brainstorm ideas on and tick off as I go.

6. How long have you had your blog and does it help you promote you works?
I created the blog about a year ago. I never really thought it would get the success that it has or the readership that it has attracted. Its a great tool for promoting my photography & styling work, but its also a great way to get feedback from others about what images and styles they prefer and it helps me to go in the right direction with my work.
It has also been a great way for me to discover other peoples blogs and therefore get some great inspiration and ideas from them too.

7. When you don’t work what do you do?
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my friends, which usually results in impromptu photo shoots anyway! I also love dancing, reading, going to gigs, and visiting new places.

8. My one British friend told me that Bristol is the best city in UK and that you can get addicted to it, music, events, interesting people etc. Is it true?
Bristol is a great place to live, there is a great music scene with lots going on all the time. The people are indeed very interesting, and there is a really wide range of characters!

9. Whats your favourite band?
I have so many its really hard to say just one! The things I am listening to the most at the moment are Fever Ray, The good life, and Bjork.

Michiel graduated “cum laude” from the Royal Collage of Art with a degree in Graphic and Typographic design. Here he learned to draw type, building fonts, writing with a brush/pointed pen, etc. Directly after his study at the Royal collage of Art he was spending his time developing his painting skills, something he didn’t learn at art school. After about a year of painting pop-surrealism images he reunited with is old love…letters!

Michiel is part of the Dstruct Collective, a group of artist and musicians who found each other through electronic music.

This installation, called Signal to Noise, relocates the heads from cassette players to the tips of your fingers in the form of a glove. An accompanying wall has vertical strips of tape which you run your fingertips along in order to play back the stored audio. Get the speed right and you can make out what’s on the tapes. Move back and forth and you’ll be scratching like the worst of DJs
